My name is Ziggy Badans, and that is the quote that has informed much of my creative journey over my life.
I am a filmmaker, specialising in production camerawork and post-production colouring and VFX. I am also a photographer, musician/songwriter, programmer and voiceover artist.
I have had a love for film and photography since I was young, when I started filming all the family events. In every one of my skills, I have built a foundation on entirely self-taught knowledge. Over the years, I have been dedicated to learning as many skills as possible, ranging from the technical side with DaVinci Resolve and VFX workflows, to a more practical side with directing and developing my own style of camerawork.
Care, empathy, family, friends - these are all values that guide my creative principles, and they all boil down to telling a story that will achieve that dynamic and unforgiving balance of audience engagement and deep introspection and understanding - that is exactly what I strive to achieve in my role on any project.
This website is a showcase of my best work, from both photography and film, and I plan to include other creative areas soon too. To demonstrate my passion for creativity, this whole website was also designed and coded entirely by myself.
